Academics

The men of Lambda Chi believe we’re here to build ourselves into tomorrow’s leaders. Whether that be in a club or organization on campus, taking an officer position at Alpha-Delta, or in our future careers, we don’t get anywhere without the hard work and dedication needed to propel ourselves towards those future endeavors. We hold this motto close to our hearts everyday, and it’s shown through our academics and support for all our brothers as they advance through their college careers.

Our study hours program helps to teach our new members good study habits as they embark on their journey into college course loads and the time management skills needed to succeed. This program consists of working with each new member to schedule 4 hours into each day for academic based activities such as studying, homework, or previewing material for a class. On Sunday and Thursday nights a group study is held where all new members and a few older members study together to promote collaboration and help between peers.

All new members room with a Sophomore their first semester in the house to use as an aid in anything they may have a question about. The idea behind this is to ensure we are presenting everyone with the resources they need to succeed, and having fun while doing it!

We strive to surround ourselves with a diverse and sharp-minded group of men who ultimately can be better than ourselves, pushing us to continue to get better at everything we do. We look for everyone to be motivated to strive for excellence in their classes and help in any way we can. Our house is full of a diversified group of brothers who are going to lead society once they graduate from Missouri S&T.
